Imagine if you could learn from multiple Social Media Strategists, implement their strategies, test these strategies and then get the metrics/analytics to see which techniques work best and why?
What: A day-long collaborative effort to learn from each other on how to do a Social Media Campaign. We will have some very experienced people and some complete novices. We will brainstorm, implement strategies, test them. We will do this around Ruby Nuby's entry to win a grant from British Airways. The one week of voting Dec 10-17th gives us a specific time frame and we were able to affect action taken by others(voting for video).
When: 10am-10pm, Sunday, Dec 12th,

New York, NY 10001 (they have free wi-fi and this is a techie/startup hangout with electrical jacks all over)

Ruby Nuby knows a thing or two about Social Media. Our 2-minute video describing our socio-economic mission, competing for a grant from British Airways, is ranked #7 in the world with 31,000 votes. We were #1 for most of the first round of voting and had 5x's the number of votes of the next nearest competitor. Why did we slip to #7? We held off for the 2nd round of voting where voting completely refreshes for the top 10 to compete in the final round, which is Dec 10th-17th. We want to implement our special social media strategies when it counts and that is the inspiration of this workshop.
