Social Media and Digital Marketing Workshop, hosted by Social Heroes LLC and sponsored by Farmers Insurance, is open to Farmers Insurance agents, district managers, and agent or DM staff only.

Join us on Thursday April 17th, 2014 from 8 am - 5 pm.

This one-day event will explain how you can use social media to grow and enhance your business as well as your customer relationships. We will show you how to use social media for maximum results in the following areas:

Frequently Asked Questions

What can/can't I bring to the event? Feel free to take pictures, but no recording devices (audio or video) please.

Please bring a laptop, iPad or smartphone so you can participate in the live Twitter/Facebook feed.  Please also bring a power strip and/or extension cord.

What should I wear?  We recommend that you dress Business Comfortable.  Also, since it is usually cold in hotel meeting rooms please bring a sweater or jacket so you will be comfortable.  

Do I really need to bring a laptop, or is an iPad or smartphone enough? We DO recommend that you bring an actual laptop to the event in order to participate in the activities.  Many of the activities we will walk through do not work on mobile devices.

What else do I need to bring?  You will need to be able to access your social media pages on your laptop and have a list of your social media passwords so you can access your accounts.

What is the event hashtag for Twitter, Facebook and/or Instagram?  #socialheroes

When should I use the hashtag?  We would love to follow you on your journey to Social Media Day.  Use it early and often!  Let us know what you're looking forward to learning, who you're coming to the event with, what you're bringing, ask us questions...  Ready, set, go!

Can I bring staff to the event?  Yes, while the event is only open to Agents and District Managers with Farmers Insurance, staff is also invited to attend.

What is included in the ticket cost? Your ticket includes breakfast and lunch.

Which meeting room will we be in at the hotel?  Crystal Ballroom

Where will meals be served?  Breakfast & Lunch - Crystal Ballroom Foyer, Catalina Ballroom and Patio

What about parking?  Discounted self-parking rate is $10.00 per vehicle.  Discounted valet parking rate is $16.00 per vehicle

Is my registration/ticket transferable? Yes.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? Your printed ticket will speed up your registration, but we can look you up manually if you forget it. Just be patient please!

What is the refund policy? Although we are not able to offer refunds, you are welcome to transfer your ticket to someone else so they may attend.

The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay? Yes, tickets are transferable.
