Event Details

Christine Cupaiuolo, Digital Media Consultant

Your organization joined Twitter and Facebook (or other relevant social networks), but now you’re struggling to keep up an active presence. Who on staff has enough hours in the day? And how do you know you’re reaching anyone? This workshop is for small/understaffed NPOs interested in creating a realistic social media plan, as well as anyone who wants to learn more about building an effective social media strategy. Participants will gain an understanding of the capabilities and costs of social media (in terms of both dollars and time), and learn which platforms are best for issue advocacy, community building, and fundraising. This class will also include suggestions for free/low-cost tools designed to help organizations listen and engage.
