Social Justice Workshop: Undoing Racism
Saturday, September 22, 2012 from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM (PDT)
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
We would like to offer an exciting opportunity for 30 incoming students to participate in an identity exploration Social Justice Workshop.
This workshop will help students develop a common language about race, privilege and power and the professional skills needed to have difficult conversations about difference. The workshop is meant to complement our social justice values and provide students with a shared foundation to explore future curriculum.
This workshop is a pilot program and if successful will be provided for the entire student body. Your participation will be instrumental in helping the administration decide on the implementation of this program. For this reason, if you decide to participate, we would like to follow up with you later in the year to inquire how participation in this workshop influenced your experiences in your first year curriculum
