Reviving Communities:
Connecting Human Development and Economic Growth

When we think of community revitalization, we often think first of bricks and mortar. But what makes a healthy city? How do walkable streets develop? What type of urban environment do you envision?

Two community leaders whose Cleveland neighborhoods are at different stages of economic recovery will share the innovative approaches that have brought positive change, and they will share initiatives underway to meet current challenges. From overcoming foreclosure and food deserts to leveraging the success of business development to benefit adjacent neighborhoods, come to experience the vitality of Ohio City and learn what is developing there and in Cleveland’s Central, Kinsman, and Garden Valley neighborhoods.
