Social Event with Cream Tea
Birmingham, United Kingdom
International Student Social Event with Cream Tea:
This is a fantastic opportunity to meet other new international students in an informal environment whilst enjoying the English cultural tradition of a cream tea.
Cream tea is a meal traditionally taken in the afternoon; it includes scones (a cross between bread and cake), jam, cream and a cup of tea. Entry to this event is free. Cream teas can be purchased for a small charge at the event.
Lower Rio's is located in Shackleton Hall, the venue overlooks the lawns and lake in the Vale student village, and if it is sunny the doors will be opened so that attendees may sit outside on the lawn.
Shackleton Hall is a 20 minute walk from the main Edgbaston Campus.
