Neal Gorenflo is the co-founder and publisher of Shareable Magazine, a nonprofit online magazine about sharing. As a former market researcher, stock analyst, and Fortune 500 strategist, Neal is perhaps an unlikely voice for sharing. An epiphany in 2004 inspired Neal to leave the corporate world to help people share through Internet startups, publishing, grassroots organizing, and a circle of friends committed to the common good.
Barbara Saunders specializes in long-form, high-stakes content. She's got a head for business and the heart of an entertainer. She rescues the most compelling ideas from dry corporate-speak and makes them sing, whether in marketing collateral or in strategic content such as white papers, articles, books, and blog posts.  She offers hands-on creative and consultation for video and audio as well as text.
Janet S. Cohen has been a consultant and social enterprise practitioner working in and with nonprofit organizations for more than 25 years, focusing on earned income strategies and business venture development, start up, and management within nonprofit organizations. She serves in Interim Executive positions in organizations with an earned income focus during periods of transition in leadership.

Leaders across sectors using business to benefit communities.

Entrepreneurs, investors, and other leaders across sectors are realizing that social and financial returns are not mutually exclusive. Organizations, products, and services can use the marketplace to have positive impacts in the community. New social movements, media, and technology are causing and enabling tremendous shifts in legislation, the workplace, and the marketplace: our communities are awakening to the opportunity of an impact-driven economy.

The commitment of SEA/SFBay is to facilitate a participatory platform for collective impact, with the vision of a San Francisco Bay Area where everyone has the opportunity to invest, start, partner, work, and purchase from businesses that benefit communities. Our mission is to take a purposeful, inclusive, and innovative approach for convening leaders from all sectors, ages, and stages to benefit social enterprises, the communities they impact, and the social enterprise movement at large. Join us!

Established and emerging leaders meet to exchange learning and resources, support each other, and be part of the conversation.

We are an official chapter of Social Enterprise Alliance, the largest network of social enterprises in North America with a 15‐year history of field leadership, a national network of over 1,000 members, and a local footprint of 13 chapters in 11 states. Members include top practitioners, leading thinkers, investors, public policy leaders and a wide range of service providers.
