Making Social Media Relevant to My Business

So you are experienced with Facebook and know that Twitter is a Social Media platform, not just the sound birds make.  But do you know how to effectively use these tools to make your business thrive?

Digital Engagement Strategist and Community Manager Garick Chan has had the honor of speaking for UCLA's career week as well as for classes at both USC Annenberg and Loyola Marymount and is bringing his knowledge to the LAPPG. As a regular participant on Breakthrough Business Strategies, Community Manager Chat, Social Workplace and Community Manager Hangout, Garick discusses various topics on innovation in social business every week such as, "what is a social business and how do I incorporate social media into my own practice?" Garick will show us how to engage and attract as well as how to become a valuable member of the online community.

We’ll be learning about Social Business so bring your phone or most favorite electronic device and join us for our first Tweetup* with #LAPPG!
