This event is being held to benefit a humanitarian effort called Save-A-Thon For Africa, started by the nonprofit company, Bridges to America, and 12 year-old goalie, Kylie Miles. Kylie will be going to Ghana, Africa for Christmas this year to deliver soccer balls, school supplies, and food to a few hundred poor children living in villages several hours outside the capital of Accra, Ghana.
The event is free but we hope to raise significant funds to benefit the children in these poor villages. There will be a silent auction and on-site sales of T-shirts, care packs, and soccer balls for the children we will visit. Please plan to bring whatever funds you can to donate and help this cause.
There will also be gourmet Swedish pancakes from Papa Rick's Sweetish Delights and a drink available for a nominal donation.
