This W3 mixer is a quarterly event for bioscience women executives and allied service providers affiliated with SoCalBio to encourage networking and mutual support among bioscience women executives and company managers in Southern California.

Support Low-Income Women Trying to Re-Enter the Labor Market
Mixer attendees are encouraged to bring with them wardrobe items for women, men and kids to be donated to the following charitable, non-profit organization: Clothes The Deal.
Clothes The Deal is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization headquartered in Downey, CA,. The organization assists men, women and at-risk youth in career transition, empowering them to interview with confidence. Find more info about Clothes the Deal at: http://www.clothesthedeal.org
Clothes The Deal accepts the following professional business clothing for men and women in clean, ready-to-wear condition: suits, shirts/blouses, dresses, slacks, ties, skirts, briefcases, dress shoes, coats and accessories (purses, scarves, jewelry, belts, etc.).
Guidelines for Donating Clothes:
- Clothing should be on hangers, clean, and ready to wear.
- As a rule of thumb, the clothing should be in the condition that you would lend to a friend. Clothes
- The Deal does not have the means to provide cleaning or pressing, so please be sure that the clothing you donate is in good condition and can be passed on without cleaning or mending.
- Recent styles are appreciated. Large and extra large sizes are appreciated too.
Tax Receipts: All donations are tax deductible.
