Looking for a new holiday tradition? Connect with your inner naturalist and explore the habitat and life cycles of the federally threatened snowy plover, a small white bird that makes Santa Monica and surrounding beach cities its home this time of year. Binoculars will be provided, or bring your own! Comfortable clothing and sun protection are recommended.
The Snowy Plover Beach Ecology Walk with the Santa Monica & LA Audubon Societies is a free event. Reservations are requested.
To register: In the ticket field above, select the number of tickets you would like to reserve. If you do not wish to register through Facebook, click "register with email" at the bottom of the ticket field. Submit your reservation; a confirmation email will be sent to the email you provide.
Please note: You do not need to print your ticket. Please provide the name used when making your reservation at check-in.
The Annenberg Community Beach House is located at 415 Pacific Coast Hwy. Parking is available for $3 per hour or $8 per day. Please pay for parking at the machine upon your arrival. Cash and credit card accepted.
Ample bike parking is available; please bring a lock.

Annenberg Community Beach House
The Annenberg Community Beach House is open to all - no membership required. Operated by the City of Santa Monica, many of the site's amenities are free and open to the public year-round, including beach volleyball courts and soccer fields, courtyard and view deck with umbrellas for shade, WiFi, splash pad, playground, and beach access. And Back on the Beach Café is right next door!
Free year-round cultural offerings include a gallery, Beach=Culture readings, lectures, and concerts, as well as tours of the Marion Davies Guest House - the original guest house of the Marion Davies Estate. The historic pool is available for public swimming daily during summer (mid June through Labor Day). Admission fees for the pool are $10/adult, $4/youth (1-17) or $5/senior (60+).
The Beach House is also available to rent for private events and as a location for filming.
