Event Details

This conference will highlight the importance of choosing the right erosion and sediment controls for construction sites and some of the most commonly made mistakes involving their implementation and use.  “Getting it Right the First Time” requires careful site assessment, planning, and construction monitoring and speakers will share examples of minor mistakes as well as major blunders that have resulted in damage to natural resources and costly remediation on construction sites.

Guest speakers include professionals in erosion and sediment control planning, construction, soil preservation and low-impact development.  They bring the experience of the construction industry, private sector and state and federal agencies.

This event will provide a great educational opportunity for anyone who works on a construction site, as well as a networking atmosphere for attendees to meet and talk with experts and specialists from the industry.
