Sneak Peek at 111 Minna Gallery: An ArtPoint Artist Talk
Since its opening in 1993, 111 Minna Gallery has gained notoriety as one of San Francisco's premier venues for underground and oftentimes controversial art. The gallery has become a mainstay of the San Francisco art scene, showing both emerging and well-established artists, and is responsible for launching the careers of some of today's most influential visual artists.
In partnership with 111 Minna Gallery, the ArtPoint Board of Directors invites you to an exclusive preview of their August exhibition, Lethal Injection, before it opens to the public. Curator Micah LeBrun will discuss the concept for the show, and resulting Empty Kingdom film production. Chillin' Productions Founder and CEO Irene Hernandez-Feiks will facilitate a conversation between artists Robert Bowen, Nicolas Giraud, Philip Lawson, and Isaac Pierro. Special guests Jason Mitchell and Stacey Ransom of Ransom & Mitchell will speak about their photographic collaborations with selected artists.
Lethal Injection opens to the public on Friday, August 3, you can learn more about the exhibition here.
Proceeds from this event support exhibitions and programs at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco. This event is FREE for ArtPoint members. Join today!
