Is there a sustainable business in live web-streaming? Can content be sufficiently monetized if distributed over the web? SMPTE PDA Now guest speaker John Naylor, of NewTek, explains which businesses are using web-streaming and whether or not it is helping them. In addition, Mr. Naylor also describes the various models (Subscription, Pay-Per-View, Video-on-Demand, Ad Insertion) that may implemented to monetize content and what the streaming landscape currently looks like.
