What Does It Mean?
Dates: Saturdays, april 26 - May 17
Time: 10am - 12pm
Recommended Ages: 3.5 - 6 yrs.
From portrait to landscape, children discover art through it's many meanings and forms.
The cost includes 4 classes, each lasting two hours. The tickets are good for a child and their caretaker. Two make-up classes are offered for each registration and are honored for up to one year.
Do I have to stay with my child during the class?
Yes, this is a family workshop and parents are expected to attend and PARTICIPATE. Its a great way to connect!
My child isn't the right age, can they still attend?
We work hard to create age-appropriate programs and hope that you can find a class that suits your child's age and schedule. If you still feel strongly about attending, we will of course, welcome you. But, please understand that we are unable to alter the class format and content to suit the needs of individual children and thus, your child might not have the best experience.
Can I bring a sibling?
We would prefer that you don't as it can be distracting and take away from the connection you can make with the child attending the class. However if its a choice between the sibling or not attending the class, we would much prefer you come to the class!
What will we do during the class?
We will meet at the Natural History Museum introduce the theme in a SEEC classroom. After our introduction, we will walk to a museum on the Mall and return to the classroom for a final activity.
Will we be walking?
Yes and in ALL weather. Come prepared! It’s a great way for the kids to get some exercise and fresh air too!
