Audience Capacity: 35 people

Artist and Project Information:

ChuCha Santamaria (Sofía Córdova & Matthew Kirkland)
Odas al Fin de los Tiempos (Odes to the End of Time)
Information: Using projections, dark tropico-glittery beats and a series of covers of songs originally in english and reimagined in spanish to describe an alternate reality, ChuCha Santamaria will play the travelling troubadour, this time on a house call, to celebrate the current state of (pop) culture. In this reality, ChuCha has appointed herself as cultural archivist and oracle viewing our present as it unfolds into a universe existing after the collapse of the modern culture. Using the detritus of the former age (our present), ChuCha uses this performance to describe this brave new world.

Johanna Reed with Marcus Kuiland-Nazario
Let's Start With the Obvious (dialogue for a hero and her archnemesis)
Information: A one-act play for two performers, who impersonate two YouTube mashups of movie insults and threats, embodying the cinematic history of rage and humiliation, and arrive at a meta-proto-arch-dialogue. At the origin of the first dramatic conflict ever told, there was a protagonist and an antagonist: they tried to communicate; they miscommunicated.
