About the Presenter: Sarah Thomas is the Technology Liaison at John Hanson French Immersion School in Oxon Hill, Maryland (Prince George's County Public Schools). In addition, she teaches Technology Integration and English Language Arts at the middle school level. Thomas also has served on her school's leadership team, advising administrators and other teachers on technology-related matters.
Thomas holds a master's degree from Howard University in Curriculum and instruction. She is currently a doctoral candidate at George Mason University, majoring in Education. Her upcoming dissertation, Using Technology To Facilitate Language Acquisition of English Language Learners, is rooted in student-created artifacts through the use of project-based learning.
