Join us for an evening of inspiration and action with Woody Tasch, the founder and chairman of Slow Money, and author of the book, Inquiries into the Nature of Slow Money, which launched a movement to bring the financial system back to earh, Carol Peppe Hewitt, co-founder of Slow Money NC, and author of Financing Our Foodshed, and Tim Crosby, founder and director of Slow Money NW.
We will also be supporting new ways for non-accredited investors to become involved in investing the the local food movement. To help launch these efforts, we will be hearing from the experiences of our sister organization, Slow Money North Carolina. Carol Pepe Hewitt, one of the founders of Slow Money NC will speak about her experience in connecting local entrepreneurs with almost $700,000 in community capital.
