We will also be supporting new ways for non-accredited investors to become involved in investing the the local food movement.  To help launch these efforts, we will be hearing from the experiences of our sister organization, Slow Money North Carolina.  Carol Pepe Hewitt, one of the founders of Slow Money NC will speak about her experience in connecting local entrepreneurs with almost $700,000 in community capital.
