Until we get to know our neighbors, we tend to be wary right? Drop in for this opportunity to meet and greet some of our scaly open space neighbors. You'll come away with newfound friends that need not be feared and learn how much these good neighbors actually do for our community.
Registration is not required.
Drop by any time between 10:00 am to 12:00 pm to speak with our naturalist.

Jefferson County Open Space was founded as a land conservation organization in 1972. Its mission is to preserve land, protect park and natural resources, as well as provide healthy nature-based experiences. Funded with a one-half of one percent sales tax, the agency contributes to city and recreation district projects and manages 44,613 acres, 28 regional parks, and 230 miles of trails in Jefferson County, Colorado.
