Business Volunteers Maryland is celebrating 10 years of creating meaningful impact among nonprofits and business professionals.  Now it’s your turn. Join us on Tuesday, June 25 for SkillsIMPACT 2013 at the American Visionary Art Museum (JRVC 3rd Floor Banquet Room). Mingle with other like-minded professionals, interact with more than 40 nonprofits and discover how your skills can be the solution to a community need.

 Nonprofit organizations include:

 House of Ruth Maryland, Blue Water Baltimore, Earl’s Place, Meals on Wheels of Central Maryland, Baltimore SquashWise, Community Law Center, Rebuilding Together BaltimoreJunior Achievement of Central Maryland and more... 


The evening’s program will include remarks from Aaron Hurst, President & Founder of Taproot Foundation, a nonprofit organization that makes business talent available to organizations working to improve society.  Taproot engages the nation’s millions of business professionals in pro bono services both through award-winning programs and by partnering with companies to develop their pro bono programs. 


Ticket price includes beer, wine and light appetizers provided by Zeffert & Gold Catering.

Business Volunteers Maryland's mission is to inspire volunteerism and connect motivated people and businesses to nonprofit organizations leading to a stronger community.  Business Volunteers trains and places business professionals on nonprofit boards; develops civic leaders; matches individuals with meaningful volunteer opportunities; creates partnerships between companies, local nonprofits and schools; and provides volunteer management training to nonprofits.
