Mr. Joshua Howard, Executive Director of the California Apartment Association, Mr. Drew Arvay, Partner of Cassidy Turley & Mr. Jim Beeger, Senior Vice President of Colliers International, both dominate their space in the Research and Development (R&D ) and Office Space arena in the Silicon Valley. CAP rates are increasing in San Jose as the Peninsula commercial real estate is becoming less available. Commercial space is hot right now and occupancy rates are trending strong. Both of these speakers will share the trends that are driving the markets now, and what they see on the horizon. What are the economic drivers? What are investors focused on? Drew was elected to the Broker Hall of Fame by his peers, the Association of Silicon Valley.

Joshua Howard serves as Executive Director for California Apartment Association, Tri-County. He is charged with overall management of the Division and plays an active role in local public affairs serving as the Association’s primary lobbyist with the City of San Jose. Previously he served as Vice President, Public Policy & Communications for the San Jose/Silicon Valley Chamber of Commerce, Public Affairs Director for CAA Tri-County, and as a senior aide to former San Jose Vice-Mayor Pat Dando. He holds a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of San Francisco.
