Event Details

Women helping women across the globe. This group will serve as ambassadors for True Vineyard Ministries contributing time and talent to assist with special event activity, public relations/marketing efforts, networking, outreach efforts and assist with mission trips. This women’s leadership organization will help to identify and implement third party fundraising opportunities to further our work in Rwanda. Additionally, this group will also have the opportunity to travel to Rwanda to meet our Sisters first hand and witness the work that is being done.

True Vineyard Ministries' primary revenue generator is The Vineyard Marketplace which is our fair trade boutique located in the Historic District of San Marcos.  The Marketplace sells personally selected handcrafted items that are created by widow's cooperatives, orphan-headed households and other African artisans working to say goodbye to poverty through hard work and creativity.  In addition to our store front boutique, The Vineyard Marketplace promotes Trunk Shows to be hosted in various market events, organizations and specialty event activity.  As a member of the Sisterhood you could choose to volunteer throughout the year as a TVM hostess.

True Vineyard Ministries works within the framework that all of our friends in Rwanda have been affected by the genocide that occurred in 1994. True Vineyard Ministries is part of the rebuilding process of post-genocide Rwanda through emotional and spiritual healing and social enterprise.

By joining our Sisterhood you will be a voice in your community about what's happening in Rwanda.  You will be helping a widow to work in a holistic work environment that provides her with spiritual and emotional support, health insurance, and a steady salary.  Your time and talent will help widows be empowered to provide for her own needs and the needs of her children.
