Sister to Sister: Transform Your Life...Today!
Saturday, September 20, 2014 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (EDT)
Recently, while standing in line at the post office, I overhead two men talking. (OK. I was eavesdropping!) In standard guy fashion, they were talking about sports.
Who would go first in the NFL draft?
- Who would win the NBA finals?
- Would LeBron really go back to Cleveland?
Of course by now, we have all the answers to each of those questions. But there was one question the men discussed that is still unanswered.
Guy #1 Have you been golfing lately?
Guy #2 Yes. I have been playing the courses around town, but one day, I would really like to play in California. It would be a dream come true to play on one of those courses near the coastline so I could look at the ocean while I play.
Guy #1 That sounds great! When are you going?
Guy #2 I don’t know. Someday.
Why is it that we find it easy to talk about our dreams, but find it much harder to identify WHEN those dreams will become a reality?
How many times have YOU said: One day? Someday?
Join me at the 2014 Sister to Sister Conference when we will challenge you with sisterly love to Transform Your Life…TODAY!
This year’s conference will be a bit different from our past events. Instead of our typical one-day conference where you choose from a “menu” of workshops, we will offer two inspiring sessions designed to complement one another. In the morning, we will focus on where you are now and where you want to be in the future. In the afternoon, we will work collaboratively to create the plan to get you there.
First comes thought; then comes organization of that thought into ideas and plans; then transformation of those plans into reality.
If you are ready to Transform Your Life, then join me on September 20.
Complete your registration and return it…
Not one day. Not someday. TODAY!
Love to all my sisters!

SISTER TO SISTER (STS) is a think thank founded in 1993 to address the unique needs of African American women. In the last two decades, we have grown in our vision and scope and now work to educate and empower ALL women. STS provides a forum for women to come together to dialogue, strategize and make recommendations regarding issues that are relevant to us. In 2013, STS celebrated its twentieth anniversary and was recognized as one of the longest running women's conferences in the United States.
As always, we expect this year's conference--"I Surrender!" to be a success.
