Nicole Mitchell (contralto) is a proud native of Brooklyn, New York. Ms. Mitchell has performed at Carnegie Hall, Avery Fisher Hall, and with New York City Opera, Sarasota Opera and American Opera Projects. In addition to contemporary compositions, Ms. Mitchell’s concert work as alto soloist includes Verdi’s Requiem, Brahms’ Alto Rhapsody, Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony & Choral Fantasy, Händel’s Messiah and Rossini’s Stabat Mater.
