Event Details

LA Commons will host the second annual Found LA: Festival of Neighborhoods. This year’s theme “Discovering the Secret Heart of Los Angeles” invites participants to move beyond historic sites and surface structures to showcase the significance that lies rooted in storefronts, shops, and gathering places in their communities.  Supporting local community leaders in sharing what ties them to their neighborhoods.

What is pedestrian's life like in Los Angeles? Follow along with Deborah Murphy  as you explore the many important historic locations, as well as significant residential and commercial architectural masterpieces from both the 21st century and the past  in Silverlake. Explore these local hidden gems among the strong base of locally owned and operated shops, coffeehouses and restaurants to find out the best Silverlake has to offer.

Deborah Murphy founded Los Angeles Walks to bring awareness to the role walking plays in the city of Los Angeles by advocating innovative urban design with pedestrians in mind.
