Dr. William Fritz, Ph.D.
is the Interim President of the College of Staten Island. Dr. Fritz is an internationally known field geologist and has published more than 50 articles and guidebooks on sedimentation around
modern and ancient explosive volcanoes, as well as on sedimentology, stratigraphy, and paleobotany.
He has authored two textbooks and a popular book on the Roadside Geology of the Yellowstone Country. He received his BS and MS in Biology from Walla Walla College and a Ph.D. in Geology from the University of Montana.
James Garin, P.E.
is the Director of Engineering for the Bureau of Water and Sewer Operations with the New York City Department of Environmental Protection. He manages multiple divisions which include: Capital
Program Development and Planning which initiates all capital water and sewer projects in the City of New York, the Capital Budget Unit, the Project Development Section, the Capital Drainage Section and the Bluebelt Unit. He received a BS in Mechanical engineering from Polytech University.
is the president of the Naso Organization and has presided over and managed the successful development of over 800 homes throughout Staten Island and approximately 100,000 square feet of
commercial space. Frank is currently a board member for the New York State Builders Association and Past President of the Building Industry Association of New York City. Frank is a graduate of Saint John’s University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and attended New York University for his Master of Science degree in Real Estate Development and Investment.
