Shrimp and Grits Charleston, a CHEFS' COMPETITION benefiting the CHS Animal Society

Tickets can be purchased in advance for $35 while supplies last or until September 12th. After September 12th, tickets can be purchased on this site or at the door for $40.
This is a local non-profit event highlighting elite Charleston and Mt. Pleasant Chefs. This event is dedicated to showcasing local chefs' takes on a Lowcountry classic: Shrimp and Grits. 20 chefs will compete to secure this year's bragging rights and benefit the Charleston Animal Society. All you can eat samples of Shrimp and Grits, drinks available for purchase, live music,unique vendor booths, and more. $35 Advance Tickets, $40 at the door, $12 for children 12 and under.
Your admission ticket includes all you can eat samples of shrimp and grits, live music, sponsor/vendor offerings. Alcoholic beverages (craft beer, beer, wine and spirits) can be purchased from the Joe Stadium at several convenient places. Water is free.
Last year 1400 people ate, drank, judged and danced the night away. It was an absolute blast and we raised $1,500 our first year. This year will be even bigger and better. Hope to see you there!!

Shrimp and Grits Charleston was founded by Margaret Dillard, Esq. in 2014 because she loves Charleston, shrimp and grits and animals!
The second annual Shrimp and Grits Charleston, Chefs' Competition will bring together 20 of the best downtown Charleston and Mt. Pleasant Chefs to create a mouth-watering competition! Who doesn't want to eat shrimp and grits, drink, listen to live music and raise money for an orginazation very near and dear to our hearts, the Charleston Animal Society.
Last year was a ton of fun with music, drinks, and of course, plenty of shrimp and grits to go around. Join us this year!.
