Join Green Drinks Indy at the IMA for one of our most popular events. Horticulture Director Chad Franer will explain how two rain gardens capture storm water runoff from the Greenhouse parking lot. Discussion will focus on the importance of capturing runoff and how you can implement this at home. Chad will also highlight plants with fall color and entertain any plant related questions you may have.
Join us at 5:00 to shop; tour will start at 6 p.m. SHARP since sunset occurs at 7:15. But please come early and shop. The exceptional Madeline F. Elder Greenhouse and Shop has extended hours until 6 p.m. just for Green Drinks Indy! Find a plant treasure or unique gift at the greenhouse.
We will meet in the parking lot of the Madeline F. Elder Greenhouse, located on the grounds of the IMA 4000 Michigan Road, Indianapolis You can enter the Museum from either Michigan Rd or 38th Street and follow the signs to the greenhouse. Please RSVP.
