The new HTML5 P2P API called WebRTC DataChannels opens the door for many cool projects.
One of them is Sharefest. A sharing webapp that will allow users to share files instantly without any servers. It will be dead simple - something like http://sharefest.jit.su/
Users also won't need to install any software (such as Bittorrent client), they just need a modern browser.
We are inviting anyone who is interested in WebRTC to join us and hack together Sharefest.
The event is part of our startup accelerator event, so more people will be there, food and drinks!
What skills are needed?
HTML5/CSS3 enthusiasts to make sharefest look awesome!
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
There's a free parking lot on the back-side.
Drive East to California from El Camino Real and take a left.
You'll see the food trucks and Upwest party...
What can/can't I bring to the event?
Bring your laptop... Beer and food are on the house!
Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?
