"Share My Kingdom" is a documentary in production. It delves into the lives and art of three artists with developmental disabilities who emerged from the art studio of Little City Foundation. The documentary provides a view into the compelling life histories and the artistic creations of Harold Jeffries, Wayne Mazurek and Luke Tauber. While the three men in the documentary seemingly have the odds stacked against them, they are able to turn their ideas into reality. With no formal art education or training, each of them transforms their vision into artistic works of expression.
This film screening is being presented in partnership with Barkada Circle. In the Filipino language, the word "barkada" means best friends. Barkada Circle is a social enterprise that coaches nonprofit organizations on how to tell more compelling stories about their mission. Barkada's creative team provides educational arts-based programs that show participants how to harness the transformative power of the visual arts, music, theatre and more in telling stories that appeal to the senses, trigger emotions, create memorable experiences for the audience and build a stronger community of nonprofit storytellers.
Pon Angara, Director of Barkada Circle will lead the post-film discussion along with the filmmakers.
