We're excited to announce a playful blues and fusion throwdown. This will be a short piece of choreography open for anyone in the community to learn and perform as a group at the ball. The fusion section will be taught at Shades Monday, September 23rd, 8pm. The blues section will be taught at Friday Night Blues Friday, September 27th, 8pm. We'll have a class at the ball from 9-10pm to go over both halves. Saturday Ruth and Mike's workshop will go well with the choreo, though it stands alone as well- they will be teaching movements, technique and concepts that support the choreography. In addition to the classes and workshops, we'll have tutorial videos available via Youtube. Get ready to have fun and represent!
Ruth and Mike Workshops:
4:00 to 6:30 - Fusion (a mix of different dance styles).
These workshops will be great on their own. They will be especially great if you are doing the Blues and Fusion Throwdown choreography at the Shades Masquerade Ball because we will work on technique and movements that will support the choreography. We will not be learning the choreography in this workshop, so it will still stand alone as an excellent dance workshop.
