Early check in/registration packet pickup will begin on

Wednesday, June 26th, from 12noon until 7pm, then

Thursday 06/27 and Friday 06/28 from 7am to 7pm.

Minor must have parent present at registration to sign waiver (unless already completed online/eventbrite.com).

Check in will be at the St. Cloud Police Department, located at

4700 Neptune Road St. Cloud, FL 34769.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION

The SGT. ROBO MUD RUN is located at the Peghorn Park Nature Trail and Wildlife Habitat in St. Cloud, Florida. This is a thrilling 4-5 mile obstacle course designed to test your limits physically and mentally. Be prepared to experience a multitude of extreme obstacles.  While this course may be extreme; all fitness levels are welcome to join in the fun. Reasonable accommodations have been made for various fitness levels and ALL participants who cross the finish line will receive a medal. This event will take place whether rain or shine.  Event details are subject to change without notice.

IMPORTANT DETAILS / ITEMS TO BRING

Loose fitting clothing that you don't mind getting torn or stained. Better safe than sorry. Bug spray, a towel, and sunscreen are also a good idea. MINIMUM AGE: Runners must be at least 14 year of age to participate; anyone ages 14-17 will need to have a waiver signed by an adult/guardian at check-in. First 1,000 participants to register will receive a free event t-shirt.

 

WHAT TO EXPECT 

The trail itself is 4 or 5 miles long depending on the path you choose to take. We will run rain or shine. Expect to get muddy and wet. You can run fast, but if you stray from the pack you may get hit by water bombs. You can expect to encounter the following obstacles (See some pictures below):

SPECTATORS

We have plenty of space for spectators. Water balloons will be available to launch at unsuspecting runners for a fee.

BATHROOMS / FACILITIES

There will be clean up stations and bathrooms available.

AFTER PARTY

After party will take place at the St. Cloud Civic Center. There will be food, beer, music, live band and much more. Complimentary water will be available for all participants. Each participant, 21 years or older, will receive one complimentary beer. Food and beer will be available for purchase fee as well.

 

BENEFICIARY

All money donated go to the St. Cloud Citizen’s Foundation to benefit St. Cloud Police Officers in need. This specific mud run on June 29, 2013, will help Sgt. Boyd Graham.

One of SCPD law enforcement officer, Sgt. Boyd Graham was recently diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer. Boyd served our country in the Marines and then in the Army for a total of eight years before joining the police force sixteen years ago. Claire teaches Biology at a local high school in St. Cloud. They are both dedicated public servants. (See More)
