REMINDER SFUSD Family Empowerment Conference

Dear Family Engagement Liaisons & Friends,

We are only 3 days away from the 2nd Annual SFUSD Family Empowerment Conference coming up on Saturday, September 27, 9am-2pm at Denman Middle School! The conference will include a resource fair, exciting workshops and of course free childcare & great food. As we put together the final details, we turn to YOU to help us get the word out and register families to attend!

We hope you'll participate in the Conference – and we need your help!

How you can help before September 27:

• Get the word out to your membership and your school community – through your newsletters, announcements, auto dialers, etc.
• Recruit and encourage your parent leaders and emerging parent leaders (the ones who don't necessarily feel they're "leaders" but whose potential you see)
• Invite and inform your school staff
• REGISTER, REGISTER, REGISTER families online (English only), by fax, or by phone (English, Spanish & Cantonese)

How you can help on the day of the event:

• Attend the event as participants & support your families to participate
