Event Details

A two hour training for human resources professionals, investigators, attorneys and employees regarding sexual harassment prevention. Participants will learn the basic protections provided by the California Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA), how to recognize and avoid sexual harassment, employees’ and employers’ duties under the FEHA and the legal remedies available under law. This webinar is compliant with Government Code section 12950.1

Presenters

Domini Pham is a Senior Staff Counsel for the Department of Fair Employment and Housing. Before joining the Department, Ms. Pham worked on discrimination and civil rights claims at the Maine Human Rights Commission. She has litigated state and federal cases in the areas of employment, business and insurance coverage. Ms. Pham has worked in the private and public sectors, including serving as Deputy Attorney General at the California Attorney General’s Office. She graduated from Vanderbilt University and holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law

 

Francisco Balderrama is a Staff Counsel for the Department of Fair Employment and Housing. He graduated from the University of California, Irvine School of Law in 2013. He earned his bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies at California State University, Fullerton.

The Department takes in, investigates, conciliates, mediates and prosecutes violations under the Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA), Disabled Persons Act, Unruh Civil Rights Act and Ralph Civil Rights Act. The DFEH has five California offices in Elk Grove (Headquarters), Bakersfield, Fremont, Fresno and Los Angeles.
