The Prior Written Notice (PWN) for Placement will be available in SESIS beginning March 24, 2014. School-based psychologists, social workers, Special Education and IEP teachers, and school-based special education administrators (e.g. Assistant Principal of Special Education) should join us for training on this new functionality.
  
Special Education Community School Staff attending a training session will learn:

— Using SESIS to issue Prior Written Notices for Placement
— Managing the Prior Written Notice via the Placement Status Reports
— The Prior Written Notice for Placement
— Requesting Support for Students in Need of a Specialized Program
— Authorization to Attend Letter
— Overview of the Placement Profile
— Overview of the “First Attend” and the Awaiting First Attend Report
— Placement Training and Reference Supports
