Every food business, whether it's a restaurant, commercial kitchen, or table at the farmer's market, needs at least one person with a food safety manager certification. You can get it here!
A ticket includes a study guide rental you will receive in advance (sign up early to have more time to study!), snacks or light lunch depending on the time the course begins, the course, and the exam which is proctored immediately at the end of the course.
STUDY GUIDE (TEXTBOOK): Your tuition includes a textbook rental, which must be returned in the same condition on the day of your class to avoid incurring additional fees. You must use pencils if you take the practice exams in the book, and must return the book in the same condition in which you found it.

LAPTOP: Please bring wireless-enabled a laptop to take the exam! This will allow you to receive your exam results on the same day, and we may not have paper exams available for you to use instead.
LANGUAGE: Instruction and class time is conducted in English (American standard), though exams *may* be available in Mandarin Chinese, Spanish and other commonly spoken languages. Other accommodations for non-English-speakers accompanied by translators are allowed pending approval by Stock Pot of the translator used; please inquire.
PARKING: Please do not park directly in front of our building, as it is a commercial loading zone during the hours of the class. Street parking is generally available forward of the building; we appreciate your care in not blocking our neighbor's driveways.
Please use the gold doorbell to be buzzed in if you are locked out and not an authorized user of the facility.
Please also note that our building is unfortunately not handicap-accessible at this time, and that both the classroom and bathrooms are located up a flight of stairs.
