What do Jewish, Christian and Muslim Scriptures teach about serving humanity? Congregation Sinai, Lincoln Glen Church and Baitul Basir Mosque invite you to join us for a panel discussion with Rabbi Joshua Berkenwald, Pastor Larry Albright, and Imam Mubasher Ahmad. Meet your neighbors and learn about the unifying teachings from our Sacred Texts which can guide our communities to cooperate and collaborate in service to the poor, suffering and marginalized.

Kosher and halal snacks will be provided following the panel discussion.

Rabbi Joshua BerkenwaldRabbi Josh Berkenwald has served Congregation Sinai in San Jose, California since 2007. He is proud to be the spiritual leader of a diverse congregation that embraces people of all ages and backgrounds who seek meaningful ways to be Jewish. In addition to serving Congregation Sinai, Rabbi Berkenwald sits on the Board of Directors of Yavneh Day School and the Silicon Valley Interreligous Council (SiVIC).

Pastor Larry AlbrightRev. Larry Albright serves as Pastor of Worship at Lincoln Glen Church in San Jose, California. He received his B.A. in Music Education from Tabor College and M.A. in Choral Conducting from San Jose State University. Since 1978 when he began his pastoral ministry, he has enjoyed the privilege of leading his congregation to praise, adore, and worship God, helping them in turn to love and serve humanity as God desires.

Imam Mubasher AhmadImam Mubasher Ahmad of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community devoted his life 25 years ago to facilitate Islamic information and its relevance to modern societies, actively promoting multicultural and interfaith understanding. He is on the Editorial Board of The Muslim Sunrise, the longest running Muslim publication in America since 1921. He is also author of the book, Approaching the West.


Rev. Andrew Kille

Rev. D. Andrew Kille, Ph.D., our Trialogue moderator, has worked to build interreligious understanding and cooperation for nearly 40 years. Currently, he is Chair of SiVIC, the Silicon Valley Interreligious Council, and editor of the Bay Area Interfaith Connect newsletter published by the Interfaith Center at the Presidio.
