In honor of the AORE Conference, hundreds of volunteers are coming together to participate in a pre-conference service day engaging AORE attendees in hands-on conservation work.
Join the Student Conservation Association (SCA) and AORE conference attendees for an afternoon of service in America's own front yard: Fort Dupont Park in DC.
Conference attendees staying at the Marriott Inn & Conference Center will gather in front of the hotel on Wednesday 11/6/2013 at 12:30 PM for a free shuttle service to Fort Dupont Park. If you would like to drive, please arrive at the Fort Dupont Park activity center by 1:00PM. The activity center is the only building in Fort Dupont Park and is just off of Fort Dupont Drive.
Once on site volunteers will disperse in small SCA led groups to complete various conservation service projects at sites throughout the park.
When: Wednesday November 6th 1:00pm-4:00pm.
Where: Fort Dupont Park, Washington, DC. Volunteers will meet at the Activity Center.
