Join us for the 2nd International Service Design + Tourism Conference in Sarasota, FL on Nov. 7-9, 2013!
Hosted by Ringling College of Art and Design in partnership with Management Center Innsbruck (MCI) and sponsored by atLarge, Inc, Service Design + Tourism 2013 (SDT 2013) will draw an interdisciplinary mix of attendees including designers, tourism industry professionals, and academicians.
Together we will explore the latest thinking and best practices for creating meaningful, engaging customer experiences and improving services delivered by tourism and hospitality organizations. With attendees coming from around the world, SDT 2013 promises to deliver a rich learning and networking experience for all in attendance.
For those not very familiar with the discipline of service design, a three hour morning workshop on November 8, Introduction to Service Design, will offer a solid primer and lay the foundation for deeper learning on the topic once the conference kicks off in the afternoon. Over the course of the next day and a half, attendees will experience an array of keynote and general sessions, breakouts, and networking receptions designed to help create valuable new connections, friendships, and working relationships.
SDT 2013's pre and post conference activities will include optional tours, a Tourism Service Jam that's open to all, evening parties on Sarasota's spectacular waterfront, and optional post conference beach and yacht excursions.
