Thanks for your interest in attending our next meeting - and thanks to all those who attended in August. It was a great conversation. Lots of questions were generated about the Affordable Care Act and it's Impact on Small or Medium sized Nonprofits.

Per our discussion, we are holding another meeting next Friday (sorry for the late notice!) September 20th. The topic of discussion will be Media (Dealing with, Getting stories picked up, etc.)
This may also dovetail into other areas of course (Policy & Lobbying, etc.) but I am sure we'll have more than enough to discuss regarding how we work with the media.
I was wondering if the group wanted NYCON to approach a representative from a media outlet or have the NY Nonprofit Press come up and speak about how to get PR/stories, etc. or if you wanted me to reach out to a consultant, like Libby Post, who might have some experise in this area.
If you would be so kind to leave your thoughts when you RSVP for this meeting, that would be very helpful.
Thank you very much - looking forward to seeing you on September 20th.
