Seminar Overview

Help! We’re Going on a Short-Term Trip!… is a highly relational, informative, and interactive seminar. Whether you’re preparing your teams or investigating short-term possibilities, you will benefit greatly.

This seminar relays valuable information by simulating the process of equipping a short-term team. You will not only learn about leading, you will experience being a team member. CULTURELink training emphasizes people development as well as ministry preparation.

Seminar Instructor

Larry Ragan brings experience from over 50 countries. He has led prayer teams, professional exchanges, English schools, outreaches, building projects, disaster relief teams, and more. As a result, many have been mobilized for full-time global involvement. Larry Ragan, founder of CULTURELink, began his international experience in the South Pacific. After completing studies in engineering, cross-cultural ministries, and education, he has served as a World Missions Pastor at two different churches. He has now led and/or overseen over 250 international teams. Additionally, Larry trains for the Perspectives on the World Christian Movement. Larry and his wife, Karen, also served as missionaries in Budapest, Hungary, with Grace Ministries International.

In addition, Larry served as a teaching pastor for 11 years for North Metro Church in Atlanta, Georgia. Currently, he is ministering fulltime training and consulting with CULTURELink and is an itinerant speaker, nationally and internationally, for churches, Campus Crusade for Christ, YWAM, and many other organizations. He and Karen have two kids, a dog, two cats, one fish, one hamster and one frog.

What others are saying

… voted most helpful seminar at the ACMC National Conferences.

If the 55 teams I received in Albania had half of this training, our projects would have been so much deeper and more significant.
~Cori Crawford, Campus Crusade for Christ

… not only practical, but spiritual. I didn’t expect the seminar to be this spiritually motivating. I left inspired, convicted, and personally transformed.
~Seminar Participant, Fellowship Bible Church – Little Rock
