Seeing the Elephant: Defragmenting User Research
Wednesday, October 16, 2013 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM (PDT)
Mountain View, CA
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
Intuit welcomes the Silicon Valley user experience community for an evening with Lou Rosenfeld, founder of Rosenfeld Media and author of the infamous polar bear book. More recently, Lou penned an article for A List Apart that examines why large corporations have fragmented user research, often in spite of large investments. Please join us the evening of October 16th to mingle, network, and hear Lou discuss this topic further.
In this talk, Lou will show how research teams often fail to share data and collaborate on identifying and solving big design problems. Lou will introduce four themes—balance, cadence, conversation, and perspective—that can help organizations move from fragmented user research to the collaborative insights required for designing successful products and services.
Doors open at 6:30pm. Drinks and light appetizers provided. (Yum!) Talk starts at 7:00pm. Please join us.
