Growing plants from seeds you’ve collected yourself is fun and saves money. In this class you will learn all you need to know for seed-saving success: what kinds of vegetables and flowers grow well from saved seeds, what will breed true and what will not, how to tell if the seeds are ripe, specific techniques for collecting and cleaning seeds, and how to store seeds for the longest survival. We will harvest some seed and clean it as part of the workshop.
