Seed Collection Crew Leader Training June 16
Parks and Open Space is partnering with Wildlands Restoration Volunteers to train volunteers to lead native seed collection projects. Crew leaders lead small groups of volunteers during seed collection projects, identifying and collecting native seeds. These local seeds are often expensive or not available for purchase. Seeds will be used on future restoration projects to restore open space lands.
Volunteers who would like to become crew leaders must attend training on Saturday, June 16 from 8:00am-3:00pm, and commit to leading at least three projects in 2012.
For an application and more information, please contact Erica at 303-678-6329 or email@example.com.
Application deadline is June 8.
