Kim Bookless - The Editor

Kim Bookless is a publishing consultant, writer, and editor who guides authors through the process of self-publishing their books, including helping them clarify their goals, understand the process, and find and work with excellent service providers. She is a member of Chicago Women in Publishing's Executive Committee and leads the Chicago Self-Publishing Group, which provides its members with free educational programs and resources to help them explore the dynamic world of self-publishing. Paula Krapf - The Marketer

Paula Krapf is a social media, digital content, and PR consultant/strategist. She develops and manages online author promotions that include building an online presence, obtaining reviews and guest blog posts, and conducting giveaways.  Twitter handle: @PaulaatAME. 

Erika Nygaard - The Designer

Erika Nygaard is a Freelance Graphic Designer for ebook and print publications. She works with authors and publishers to design and develop their products, in print and digital media. Twitter handle: @erikanygaard.


Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

Yes, attendees at all CWC events must be 18 or older.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

There is parking along Ravenswood Avenue near Lillstreet Loft. Lillstreet Loft is also close to the Brown Line Montrose el station and Ravenswood Metra stop.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

Yes. You may transfer your registration to another person. To do so, please email us at contact[at]chicagowritersconference[dot]org and provide the name, email, and phone number of the person taking your place.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, but we may ask for ID.
