Second Sundays: Wine & Painting at Tel'Veh
Sunday, March 10, 2013 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM (EDT)
Second Sundays Wine & Painting with Bold Strokes by everyday folks
@ Tel'Veh Cafe and Wine Bar
Extend the weekend and explore the world through art and wine. On the second Sunday of each month, Bold Strokes sets up “studio” in Tel’Veh’s beautiful dining area. Bar manager Kaine Gesh and Bold Strokes owner Lindsay Anchors, introduce participants to the wines and art of various regions of the world, exploring a different region each month. With wine in one hand and a paintbrush in the other, participants are let loose to fill their canvases with the guidance of trained artists. Participants will leave buzzed on new knowledge, with their own original paintings to hang on their walls.
March 10 | Spain: Cubism and Spanish Wines
Tickets include two glasses of wine, happy hour menu, presentations on Spanish wines and art, artistic guidance, and all necessary painting materials (brushes, acrylic paints, canvases, etc.).

When & Where
BOLD Strokes by everyday folks
Bold Strokes by Everyday Folks is a DC-based pop-up art studio.
Using art as a centerpiece for socialization and relaxation, Bold Strokes helps folks of all backgrounds discover, develop, and channel their creativity through painting. We create a low-key environment with food and drink where participants can mingle, learn, and paint — at home, a café, or the workplace.
We provide all materials. We clean up the mess. No fuss, no muss: just bring your imagination, and leave with an original masterpiece to hang on your wall.
