Event Details

Please join us for our Second Annual Ribbons of Character Charity Benefit, to be held on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at the Port O’Call Banquet Hall, located on Lakes Michigan on the Naval Station Great Lakes Command. The evening’s festivities will include a special presentation honoring Major General John Borling, a former POW at Hanoi Hilton. His story of determination and endurance is a true inspiration.

This event is a critical part of our fundraising efforts and will support the capacity building efforts of the organization that include program expansion and development, staff training, community outreach and operational expenses.  In 2014, we have continued to grow with success, more than doubling our membership from the previous year. It is with your support that we will be able to meet our budget goals and expand the opportunity to empower military children throughout the country.
