Event Details


Join us as we celebrate the end of another season of great music.  Saxophonist Javier Oviedo, Maestro Jean-Pierre Schmitt and Orchestra 54 are pleased to invite you to a concert benefiting the Classical Saxophone Project.  A “Meet the Artists” reception will follow the performance.  The concert will feature the world premier of "Wroclaw" Concerto for Double Bass and Orchestra, written and performed by Pawel Knapik and “The Black and White Princess” by Philippe Treuille.

The Classical Saxophone Project

The mission of The Classical Saxophone Project is to reignite the awareness of the traditional classical repertoire of the saxophone through live performances and recordings and to extent it through commissions of new music. CSP is also devoted to education focusing on young artists by offering private instruction, lectures, and master classes.
