From Backstage.com, “Standup comic Sean Patton’s looks, voice, and wild energy have drawn comparisons to a young John Belushi, but this rising comedian’s style is all his own. Patton developed his standup on comedy stages in New York, Los Angeles, and across the country; was featured on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” and Comedy Central’s “Live at Gotham”; and performed at the Melbourne Comedy Festival. He was featured as one of the “New Faces” at the 2008 Montreal Just for Laughs Festival. He currently co-hosts the weekly show “Comedy as a Second Language” with Chesley Calloway at Kabin Bar & Lounge in New York’s East Village. And in June, Patton recorded his standup comedy album at NerdMelt in L.A. The album will be released in September on A Special Thing Records.”

Hell Yes Fest
Hell Yes Fest is an annual comedy festival held each fall in New Orleans. Spanning multiple nights and venues, HYF has been the Gulf South’s largest comedy festival since 2011. It features the best comedians from The New Movement in Austin and New Orleans, as well as other stellar performers from all over the damn world.
This year’s fest will take place in October 1st–11th. We’ve grown so much that we’re planning to expand the fest into a second week. The first half of the fest will focus on Film and Sketch (October 1st–5th). The second half will focus on Standup and Improv (October 6th–11th), with other surprise shows and formats (Podcast Recordings, Food, Game Shows, Video Games, etc.) sprinkled throughout.
HYF is curated by a staff of improv, sketch, and standup comedians from The New Movement. Head curator is Chris Trew (TNM co-founder & Creative Director), and helping him out are Brock LaBorde (TNM co-founder & General Manager), and a handful of local comedians who know what the hell they’re doing.
