We will take a journey together through a joyous and intense series cultivating prana and riding the wave of the conscious breath. Be prepared to have fun and challenge yourself! Intermediate Level Class-assumes a working knowledge of asanas and dynamics and a regular practice but enthusiastic beginners are quite welcome.
Sean- A 40-year Sedona resident, Sean began his yoga journey in 2000, a wonderful way to enter the new millennium. After two years of Bikram Yoga he discovered the joys of Astanga Yoga and received his yoga teacher training at Devi Yoga in 2003 from the sister and brother team of Sonali & Nathan Ganghadeen: he then taught at the studio until 2010, weaving the tapestry of breath and motion of Astanga-based Vinyasa flow he continues to teach and practice today. Sean has participated in an ongoing education, attending yoga events and workshops with many great teachers. Keeping the fundamental aspect of the science of stilling the mind as the foundation and purpose of yoga in his classes, he offers a serious yet lighthearted interlacing of fun and challenging poses while keeping a strong focus on breath control and the inner practice. www.sedonayoga.com
